Christmas Mountain, Montana is a small (fictional) town built over a hundred years ago by settlers who arrived on Christmas and decided to make their homes here (thus, the name of the mountain and the town). Population: 8,000
Located just outside of Glacier National Park, it’s filled with nature’s beauty: mountains, lakes, pine and fir trees, Christmas River flows right through town, and there’s an 84-foot-high waterfall called Christmas Falls (aka: The Falls).
Main Street is lined with an interesting assortment of shops, the brick buildings tall and narrow and include a feed store, beauty salon, book store, florist, BBQ restaurant, coffee shop, & more.
