I’m super excited to have a special guest author here today to help celebrate my new release, Forever Yours in Christmas Falls. Please give a warm welcome to: CIARA KNIGHT
Happy Holidays! I’m so excited to be here at Susan’s blog today to help celebrate the release of Forever Yours in Christmas Falls. I also had the extreme pleasure of working with Susan on the Return to Christmas Falls series. This series is so precious and full of holiday spirit, and I think Susan’s book is the fun and fabulous. I always know when I pick up a Susan Hatler book, I’ll experience a lighthearted, enjoyable sweet romance. She’s such an awesome author, but more than that she’s a fantastic lady. I’ve had the honor of meeting her in person, so I know.
For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Ciara Knight, a southern girl who loves to travel. I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing most of the United States, Caribbean, Mexico, Europe, and China. While I’m traveling, I love to people watch. My husband and I play a game while sitting at cafes by watching people pass by and then guess what they do for a living, what their hobbies are, and what secrets they are carrying with them. It’s a great way to imagine stories.
During one of our family vacations in the north Georgia mountains, I thought about how the holidays were always more special with family, but it was more than that. Christmas offers something truly special to everyone who opens their heart to it, which is why I wrote the book A Christmas Spark:
Sara Foster blames herself for her failed marriage. On Christmas Eve, she hides away in the family cabin, the same place her father abandoned her twenty years ago.
Dalton Scot is unable to face the family holiday after his divorce and discovering he can never have children of his own, so he chooses Christmas Eve to fix his buddy’s cabin.
Both search for a secluded spot to mourn their Christmas pasts, but instead are snowed in at the cabin for the holiday where they discover the power of the Christmas spark.
For a chance to win a $10.00 Starbucks gift card so that you can people watch from your own café table, leave a comment telling me what you believe a ‘Christmas Spark’ is. Good luck!

for me, a Christmas spark was always the remembrance of my first Christmas with my late husband(before we married). We met just before Christmas 26 years ago, and each Christmas we would return to the local steak house that we went to on our first date. My late husband was very romantic, and would try to recreate that night, but always add something special each year(he always said we were reliving that first ‘spark’).

A Christmas spark could be what you get if you don’t treat your christmas lights well, lol. Just kidding. I think that a christmas spark is something that makes the season magical, the thought of the word believe and the hope of what is to come. It is also the feeling you get watching those you love at this time see the magic.
Denise says
A Christmas spark is someone meets another unexpectedly at a party and they hit it off. Especially if they hadn’t intended to go to the party. Serendipity.
