Susan’s New Release & GIVEAWAY

November 29, 2016 By Susan Hatler

Dear Fabulous Reader,

I’m excited to announce the release of Harper’s story, A Christmas Kiss (Kissed by the Bay series, 5). You met Harper in Just One Kiss (Kissed by the Bay series, 3) as Charlie’s divorce attorney. I’m thrilled she gets her own story and—hopefully!—her own happily-ever-after. A Christmas Kiss is available on all of the sales channels listed below. I also want to share this special giveaway with you…

In the contemporary romance novella, A Christmas Kiss (Kissed by the Bay series, 5), Harper Avery is a no-nonsense divorce lawyer who is trying to help her client move on to better things. Gabriel Hart is a laid-back divorce lawyer who believes that sometimes love needs a second chance. Thanks to Gabriel’s encouragement, Harper is crushed when her client offers to give her soon-to-be-ex a second chance.

In order to lick her wounds, Harper books a holiday vacation at a friend’s cabin in Tahoe, but when she arrives she discovers a mix-up with the booking and opposing counsel Gabriel Hart has rented the same cabin for the same dates! Gabriel is handsome, charming, and his naïveté about love will undoubtedly hurt Harper’s client.

To enter the giveway, COMMENT ON THIS POST and tell me what you think Harper should do now that she’s arrived at the cabin for her holiday retreat and found Gabriel there!! The giveaway will close on Sunday, December 11th. So, be sure to check back on Monday, December 12th, to see if you won any of the above prizes!!

*Autographed paperbacks make great stocking stuffers! I have 15 copies of Every Little Kiss (Kissed by the Bay series, 1) and 5 copies of Love at First Date (Better Date than Never series, 1) in stock that I can ship this week. Any other of my paperbacks must be ordered by 12/7/16 to arrive by 12/24/16.

If you would like to order any of my autographed paperbacks for gifts or as a special treat for yourself, you may email me your order at su***@*********er.com and then reimburse me the Amazon paperback price via paypal payment at su***@*********er.com – *U.S. ONLY will include free shipping. For out of the country orders, email me the quantity and I can let you know the shipping cost, but can’t assure you of the delivery date.

I think it might be fun to see where Harper and Gabriel go with the situation. Listening to each other’s opinions and getting to know the other person is key to growing and possible new horizons.

  2. Janice Salotti says

    November 30, 2016 at 8:39 am

Harper and Gabriel should discuss their different approaches to divorce. Perhaps Gabriel can show Harper that there can be hope in a renewed marriage rather than the pain of divorce.

  3. Bev Sten says

    November 30, 2016 at 9:19 am

Divide the house in two. LOL I suppose they should act like adults, sit down and try to get to know each other if they’re going to be stuck together. I’m just starting the book. 🙂

  4. Susan Hatler says

    November 30, 2016 at 9:33 am

Yay, Bev! Look forward to hearing how you like Harper’s story. 🙂

  5. Trisy Arceo says

    November 30, 2016 at 10:14 am

I think Harper and Gabriel should duke it out (verbally, of course!) then make mad, passionate love until they both can agree that sometimes a divorce is necessary but sometimes, a second chance is the right path!!

  6. Katie says

    November 30, 2016 at 10:24 am

They should definitely talk it out and maybe sneak in a kiss or two. 🙂

  7. Colleen C. says

    November 30, 2016 at 10:51 am

Oh I would like to see them have a great big argument and then him give her a surprise kiss to quiet her down…

  8. Corinna says

    November 30, 2016 at 11:23 am

I think they should get lost in the woods together. Maybe a little depending on each other for survival would help them resolve their differences.

  9. Carolyn says

    November 30, 2016 at 12:00 pm

New to your writings, but I must admit that I prefer to read something where there is a little chemistry which works into a happy ending. The older we get, the more enjoyable happy endings are. So, I think they should make the best of their mistaken encounter, and perhaps drift into a relationship that could result another book or series.

  10. Sandra Spilecki says

    November 30, 2016 at 12:50 pm

I haven’t a clue what either of them should do so I’ll just follow along with whatever
you decide. After all. Hindsight is 20/201

  11. Cheryl McM says

    November 30, 2016 at 12:55 pm

I think Harper should live in the moment and enjoy Gabriel.

  12. Bobbie Malmberg says

    November 30, 2016 at 12:58 pm

Only two unlikely people can end up in the same cabin. They must overcome many differences in life goals and their faith. But, they will succeed because they really want this relationship -even if it takes a while to figure it out!

  13. Kim says

    November 30, 2016 at 2:07 pm

I haven’t read your books before, but I really like the sound of this one.

I think Harper should just stick around and see what happens. I mean if Gabriel gets on her nervous she can always leave, provided they don’t get snowed in together. Please let them get snowed in!!!!

  14. Judi Imperato says

    November 30, 2016 at 2:09 pm

I would love to win this book, thank you for the opportunity to win this giveaway for “A Christmas Kiss”. I enjoy reading the clean reads.

  15. Limecello says

    November 30, 2016 at 2:12 pm

She should ignore him. 😛 Make him work for it to win her attention and attraction.
    [I might also be grumpy.]

  16. Becka says

    November 30, 2016 at 2:19 pm

I think they need something scary happen to make them put their arguments aside causing them to realize how much they do really care.

  17. Melanie McClure says

    November 30, 2016 at 3:29 pm

I think she should stay and try to run him off by annoying him!

  18. Pamk says

    November 30, 2016 at 3:47 pm

Act like an adult and if he doesn’t get even. Make him work to get on her good side

  19. Rose Foster says

    November 30, 2016 at 3:54 pm

I think that she should tell him what she thinks and refuse to leave, And then maybe they”ll be fireworks between them,

  20. Jennifer F says

    November 30, 2016 at 5:15 pm

I think she needs to give him a piece of her mind. Then let Gabriel argue his side. Maybe steal some kisses in between.

  21. Martina says

    November 30, 2016 at 6:29 pm

I think they need to literally take a hike lol. Go enjoy the calming nature together.

  22. Jackie Wisherd says

    November 30, 2016 at 7:11 pm

I think they should go for a walk by the lake since they will probably spend lots of time in the cabin.

  23. Carrie E. says

    November 30, 2016 at 7:30 pm

She should give him a kiss!

  24. Amanda A says

    November 30, 2016 at 8:31 pm

  28. Sarah Davey says

    December 1, 2016 at 4:51 am

I’d be mad and angry and want to leave. But let’s try working it out since the place is beg enough for two. They bicker they argue and then they kiss and the flame is lit between them.
    Thanks for the chance!

I think Harper should let Gabriel teach her a thing or two about love. Thanks so much <3

  34. Cynthia St. Germain says

    December 1, 2016 at 3:05 pm

They should talk about everything in front of a cozy fire and a warm cup of hot cocoa. And get everything out in the open.

  35. Stacey Woods says

    December 1, 2016 at 3:07 pm

Never mind now it will. She should get to know him, maybe flirt with him. See if it ends up in a romantic relationship and if it doesn’t then she should be friends with him. I personally would want to leave and never come back, but then again I’m shy.

  36. Kim Trask says

    December 2, 2016 at 3:15 am

I think she should make the Most of it and have fun. This totally sounds like it could be a hallmark movie!! 🙂

Divide the place on half. Use tape or paint a line..EVEN THE BED!
